Sprout & Speak is a Speech-Language Pathologist led literacy program designed to support students' reading, language, and communication development. Partnering with schools and learning communities in Plano, Frisco, Allen, and McKinney, we use speech-language expertise to strengthen the language foundations that drive reading comprehension, vocabulary growth, and academic success.

Founded by a speech-language pathologist, Sprout & Speak is built on the belief that strong language skills are the foundation of strong readers. With experience supporting students across a variety of educational settings, we partner with schools to provide meaningful, evidence-based literacy enrichment that helps children thrive.

Explore Our Services

Storytimes

A joyful, structured literacy experience for small groups of 5-7 students at a time for Pre-School age through 1st grade. Helps build vocabulary, listening comprehension, phonological awareness, narrative skills, and phonics.

Screenings

A quick, 10–15 minute snapshot of foundational literacy skills (i.e., phonological awareness, letter-sound knowledge, early decoding, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, narrative skills, and writing. It is not an evaluation, but helps identify student who may benefit from enrichment.

Literacy Enrichment Program

A weekly 30-minute session with small groups of 4-5 students at a time for 2nd through 5th grade with targeted practice on decoding, fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and writing clarity working towards skill carry-over.
